Jay Green is an experienced, takeaway-making Stanford safety
Jay Green brings proven back-end playmaking to Stanford: in the 2025 season, he totaled 37 tackles, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble, and in his Stanford debut season he showed he can tilt games with turnovers and physicality. He’s a 6-3, 215-pound defensive back with strong athletic traits in EA’s ratings, including 88 speed, 89 acceleration, and 92 toughness, which helps explain why he fits as an aggressive, versatile safety who can hit, cover, and create momentum-changing plays.
