veteran DB with proven ball skills and reliability at Youngstown State
DeVon McKoy is a seasoned Youngstown State defensive back who has shown real production and durability, including a 2012 season with 19 tackles and four pass breakups and a larger 2011 workload with 34 tackles and four pass breakups. His value is in the little-guy-that-does-big-things stuff: experience, coverage awareness, and the kind of steadiness coaches trust in the secondary. He looks like a fit for teams that want a smart, physical DB who can compete in tight spaces and hold up in a role built on assignment discipline.
