Emerging Gamecocks WR with Untapped Speed and Route-Running Polish
Chad Dutton, Jacksonville State Gamecocks wide receiver, is a rising sophomore drawing scout buzz for his explosive 4.48-second 40-yard dash at the 2025 spring showcase and crisp route precision that creates separation against CUSA defenses; his differentiator is elite body control in contested catches despite a minor ankle tweak early 2025, paired with a relentless work ethic from high school days at Dutton HS where he led AL with 1,200 receiving yards in 2023. No red flags on character—coaches praise his leadership. Perfect fit for teams needing a dynamic slot WR who elevates offenses.
