Ben Finney is a do-everything ODU wing with winning-player DNA
In his Old Dominion career, Ben Finney stood out as a versatile 6-foot-5 guard/forward who could score, rebound, defend, and create extra possessions—one of those glue guys who makes a team look smarter. ODU’s own notes and historical stats show he reached 1,000 career points, ranked among the program’s all-time steals leaders, and posted around 9-10 points and 6 rebounds per game in his final seasons, which screams well-rounded impact rather than empty numbers.[1][4][6][8] The fit profile is simple: if you want toughness, length, and a player who helps win the little battles, Finney checks that box in a very old-school, very useful way.[3][14]
