Darwin Frett brings veteran size, tackling punch, and proven run-support juice to Elon’s linebacker room
In the 2022 season, Darwin Frett played in all 12 games for Elon and logged 14 tackles, a sack, and a quarterback hurry; in the 2021 season, he added 16 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss, showing steady, physical production rather than flash[2][6]. The differentiator here is frame and reliability: at 6-foot-3 and about 240 pounds, he profiles as a sturdy, downhill linebacker who can hold the edge, finish plays, and give a defense grown-man contact—without needing the spotlight to do it[6][5].
