ASU RHP Ashton Higgins brings elite prep numbers and strikeout upside
Ashton Higgins arrives at Arizona State after a dominant 2025 prep season, going 6-0 with a 0.54 ERA and 83 strikeouts in 54.2 innings, while earning 5A All-Conference Second Team honors and a top-in-state pitching rank from Perfect Game. He stands out for his strike-throwing, swing-and-miss ability, and poise on the mound—traits that usually translate well if his stuff keeps trending up. Based on publicly available reports, he looks like a high-upside righty worth watching for rotation or multi-inning value rather than a finished product.
