Maryland TE with 1 TD in 2025, poised for transfer with elite size and grit
Leon Haughton Jr., a 6'5", 231-lb Junior TE for Maryland, delivered his most productive season in 2025 with 4 receptions, 43 yards, and 1 touchdown, showcasing his differentiator as a physical red-zone threat despite limited volume. Beyond stats, he’s a seven-time Honor Roll student, published author, and Lebron James admirer who brings intense focus, academic discipline, and a playful yet driven personality to the locker room. Though he redshirted in 2023 and played sparingly before 2024, his 2025 breakout and expected entry into the NCAA Transfer Portal signal readiness for a team needing a reliable, big-bodied TE with high character and untapped upside.
