Kuluel Mading is a rim-protecting, high-efficiency frontcourt piece with starter-level experience
Mading is a 6-foot-11 center who brings proven interior defense, reliable finishing, and real college experience; at Norfolk State in the 2024-25 season, he averaged 7.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks while starting 57 of 70 games across two years, and he also earned back-to-back MEAC Defensive Player of the Week honors. His value is less about shot creation and more about altering shots, rebounding, and giving a team a physical, low-usage big who can fit into a disciplined system.
