Mercedes Jefflo brings two-way toughness and proven shot-making to Cal's backcourt
Mercedes Jefflo is a physical, defense-first guard with real scoring pop: in the 2014-15 season, she averaged 10.0 points, 2.6 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game, while leading Cal with 44 made threes and earning Pac-12 All-Defensive honors.[1][2] Her differentiators are intensity, perimeter pressure and clutch confidence—she was praised for defensive harassment and stepped up with a 23-point career night against UCLA in 2015 when Cal needed a creator.[2][3]
