Nia Powell brings double-double upside and frontcourt grit for Washington Adventist
In the 2025-26 season, Nia Powell has been a steady inside presence for Washington Adventist, averaging 8.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in 20.5 minutes while shooting 53.3% from the field. She already flashed her value with an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double, and her game is built on rebounding, efficient finishing, and physical effort rather than volume scoring. At 6-foot-1, she looks like a dependable fit for a team that wants toughness, hustle, and a forward who can clean the glass and hold her own around the rim.
