steady ECU offensive-line depth with a captain’s backbone
Hugh Parker’s ECU profile points to a dependable, team-first offensive lineman whose edge is leadership and work ethic rather than flash. Historical ECU materials describe him as a late-blooming walk-on transfer with “determination, resolve and work ethic,” and a senior team captain at West Carteret High School, which fits a player valued for reliability, toughness, and locker-room glue. For a team needing steady interior-line culture and a grinder who embraces development, Parker looks like a fit; for pure upside or headline metrics, he’s more under-the-radar than spectacle.
