Reggie Butler brings downhill pop and a linebacker’s edge to UNLV
Reggie Butler profiles as the kind of linebacker who can set a physical tone: active, downhill, and built for the dirty work in the box. The key question for 2026 is how much impact he can stack in a deeper UNLV front after the Rebels finished the 2025 season 10-4 and allowed 28.0 points per game, so run-defense reliability matters. At 6-foot-1, 222 pounds, he offers a compact build that fits an aggressive, assignment-sound role, and he looks like a good fit for a team that values toughness, pursuit speed, and special-teams value.
