UTEP's Agile DB with Untapped Potential
Damian Payne, UTEP Miners' defensive back, stands out with his quickness and ball skills in Conference USA action, making him a physical presence in coverage despite limited national stats visibility. His strengths lie in short-area burst and tackling tenacity, ideal for teams needing versatile secondary depth. No major injury history noted, and his under-the-radar status screams sleeper pick for programs seeking high-motor DBs who elevate intensity—perfect fit if you're building a gritty backfield on a budget.
