a physical, interior presence who brought toughness and timely defense to William & Mary
Christin Gethers was a hard-nosed forward for William & Mary who flashed interior scoring and rim protection, including back-to-back 20-point games and multiple block-heavy performances in the 2003-04 season. The clearest differentiator in the available coverage is her physicality: she scored around the paint, defended the rim, and gave the Tribe a reliable low-post option when games got chippy. The main caveat is that the accessible records are from her college career, so there’s no current-season performance data to evaluate.
