Versatile James Madison LB with a Lengthy, Physical Edge
Kevin Byrne is listed as a linebacker for James Madison, but the available public info is thin, so the safest read is that he projects as a dependable depth piece with size and toughness rather than a flashy stat-sheet star. At 6-foot-3, he brings the kind of frame coaches love for tackling lanes, special teams, and matchup flexibility. If you’re evaluating fit, think “hard-nosed, developmental defender” — the kind of player who can help a roster with effort, physicality, and role acceptance even when the headlines don’t do the work.
