Deep, dependable linebacker depth for Texas Tech
Calen Shearer is a Texas Tech linebacker who profiles as a steady, physical depth piece rather than a headline-grabber. At 6-foot-1, he has the size to hold up in the box and the kind of straightforward profile coaches value for special teams and rotational reps. Publicly available roster info is limited, so there isn’t enough verified production data here to crown him a stat leader—but for a team looking for toughness, development upside, and a disciplined fit in the linebacker room, Shearer is the kind of no-drama prospect who can help a roster feel more complete.
