long-time UNI linebacker with proven production and defensive edge
Alfonzo Lambert brings a battle-tested linebacker profile to UNI: in the 2018 season, he played in 12 games, made 3 starts, and logged 38 total tackles with 11 solo stops, 1 sack, and 2 tackles for loss[1]. His differentiators are experience, steadiness, and a résumé that traces back to being a high-school defensive MVP and school tackles record-holder, which suggests instincts and urgency rather than just raw measurables[4]. He looks like the kind of fit coaches love for reliability, tone-setting, and special-teams/defensive depth value[1][4].
