veteran center, steady Huskies anchor
Drew Schaefer is best known as a durable, experienced interior lineman for Washington, with the Huskies listing him at center and noting he earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 and the team’s 101 Club Academic Excellence Award in the 2012 season. He started every game at center and was described as one of the linchpins of a veteran front, which matters because center play is about command, consistency, and keeping the offense clean before the snap—classic unsung-hero stuff. If you value a dependable, intelligent, tone-setting pivot, he fits the bill.
