Veteran DB with Jackson State experience, but limited current stat trail
Jalil Johnson is listed as a Jackson State defensive back, but the most reliable public records available here do not show recent college production, so his current performance is difficult to verify. That said, his profile suggests a veteran defensive back with prior ball production and enough experience to factor into a secondary if he brings steady coverage, discipline, and special-teams value. For a team, the appeal is depth and experience rather than headline stats right now; the key question is whether he can translate that background into consistent, trustworthy snaps in 2026.
