Ben Chuttey brings a projectable 6-foot-4 right-handed arm to USC Upstate’s bullpen
Chuttey is a freshman RHP at USC Upstate with a projectable frame (6'4", 175) and a track record that suggests strike-throwing upside; as a sophomore in 2024, he logged 10.0 innings with 8 strikeouts, a 3.45 ERA, and 7.20 K/9. He was also rated a high-follow prospect and ranked in South Carolina by Perfect Game, which points to real recruiting buzz. The fit is simple: if you want an arm with size, development runway, and enough early performance to believe in, he’s a name worth watching.[1][4][6]
