Zeke Mayo brings shot-making, secondary creation, and veteran backcourt polish to Kansas
Mayo is a 6-foot-4 guard whose best calling cards are efficient perimeter scoring, playmaking, and a calm, pro-ready feel for the game; in his most recent pro/G League stint, he has shown he can contribute as a multi-level guard, and his college track record included high-volume production with strong outside shooting. He fits best as a backcourt spacer who can also handle the ball, make simple reads, and raise the floor of an offense. The main question for a team is whether his shot-making translates consistently against longer, more athletic defenders, but his skill package and experience make him a useful fit for rotation basketball.
