Malakai Grant brings proven production and big-play juice to Colorado State’s linebacker room
Grant is a productive, high-motor linebacker transfer for Colorado State who has already shown he can affect games with tackling and backfield disruption; ESPN lists him with 2 total tackles in 2021 at Colorado State, but the broader player results are sparse, so his clearest value comes from the kind of toughness, edge, and competitive intensity that typically translate well in a linebacker role. If you want a dependable tone-setter who can fit into an aggressive front and raise the unit’s physicality, he looks like a sensible pickup.
