Melvin Edwards Jr. brings blue-collar forward production for Charleston Southern
Melvin Edwards Jr. is a **reliable rotational forward** who gave Charleston Southern steady frontcourt minutes, averaging 6.4 points and 3.4 rebounds in 21 games with 14 starts, while shooting 36.7% from the field in the most recent season shown[3][5][6]. His value is in his ability to contribute across the glass and in stretches where he can chip in scoring, including a 21-point, 8-rebound career high and multiple double-digit scoring outings, which suggests a player who can help with energy and second-effort production rather than star-level shot creation[8][2].
