Justin Simmons brings NFL-caliber instincts and leadership to Navy’s secondary
A veteran defensive back known for elite ball skills, range, and calm, high-IQ play, Justin Simmons has built his reputation on turnovers, disguise-heavy coverage, and dependable production rather than flash. In 2024, he continued to draw praise for his ability to read quarterbacks, communicate on the back end, and fit multiple coverage roles, making him the kind of player who elevates a defense’s structure and confidence. He is a strong fit for teams that value intelligence, versatility, and a steady, professional presence.
