Montana State's Historic Buck Buchanan-Winning TE Turned HOF Legend
Joe Schreibeis, a standout tight end for the Montana State Bobcats in the early 2010s, etched his name in FCS history with a 14-yard touchdown reception in the 2010 Grizzly-Bobcat clash and later transitioned to defensive end, becoming MSU's first Buck Buchanan Award winner in 2012 as the national FCS Defensive Player of the Year—now inducted into the school's Hall of Fame. His rare two-way versatility, relentless intensity, and program-changing impact make him a coach's dream for teams needing gritty, multi-positional leaders who elevate defenses and deliver in rivalry moments.
