Hudson Mattox gives Nicholls a versatile left-side spark with pop
Hudson Mattox has shown real impact for Nicholls in the 2026 season, highlighted by a clutch home run in the Colonels’ 6-5 win over Tulane and multiple-hit games early in the year. He brings a corner-outfield profile with enough bat-to-ball and extra-base upside to matter, plus the kind of competitive edge that shows up in big moments. He looks like a useful fit if you want an energetic, opportunistic hitter who can change a game without needing the spotlight.
