a proven Louisiana paint anchor with a history of efficient scoring
Sonora Edwards was a 6-foot-2 center for Louisiana whose value showed up in the brutal, useful stuff: rim finishing, rebounding, and steady production. In the 2007-08 season, she averaged 8.6 points per game and finished her Louisiana career with 1,028 points on 43.3% shooting, plus 181 made free throws, a strong sign of interior consistency. She’s the kind of post player who fits a team needing size, physicality, and dependable half-court scoring rather than flash.
