a Gamecocks WR name worth a second look, but current on-field info is thin
David Wilkins is listed as a South Carolina Gamecocks wide receiver, but the available public data here does not show current season production or a clear recent stat line, so the best read is that he’s still more of a roster-depth evaluation than a headline-maker. That means the fit question hinges on traits and camp buzz rather than box-score fireworks: if he’s an explosive, assignment-sound route runner with reliable hands, he could be a useful complement piece, but there isn’t enough verified current performance information to call him a proven impact target yet.
