Wyoming’s local-leg weapon: Keelan Anderson brings rare range and upside to the Cowboys’ kicking room
In the 2025 season, Keelan Anderson was still a very small-sample kicker for Wyoming, but his calling card is obvious: a big leg that made him a Wyoming high school record 61-yard field goal before joining the Cowboys, plus other long makes from 57 and 53 yards in high school. Wyoming lists him as a redshirt sophomore in 2026, and early role reports show him as depth in the kicker room rather than the full-time answer yet, which makes him more of a developmental upside play than a finished product.
