Skilled, Steady Guard Who Can Run an Offense and Make Winning Plays
Thompson is a composed, pass-first guard whose value shows up in efficient shot-making, ball security, and creating offense for others. At Virginia, he developed into a reliable rotation piece and a late-game shot-maker, including a game-winning 3 at the buzzer against Wake Forest; ESPN lists his college career averages at 6.7 points, 2.5 assists, and 2.2 rebounds. For a team like Western Kentucky, he profiles as a fit if you want poise, playmaking, and a guard who can settle the offense in pressure moments.
