A 6-foot-5, 260-pound redshirt freshman, Victor Sanchez Hernandez brings unusual power-athleticism and a standout competitive background from elite taekwondo, which shows up in his balance, explosiveness, and edge-setting potential; Washington lists him as a defensive lineman/edge, not a linebacker, and he redshirted in 2025 with no game action. He was a top in-state recruit and was ranked among the nation’s better edge prospects coming out of Kamiak, but the big question is development rather than polish: if a team wants a high-upside, high-motor project with striking physical tools, he’s intriguing; if it needs an immediate plug-and-play LB, he’s not that yet.
