Aaron Mayer adds a legacy edge to Kent State’s defensive line picture
Aaron Mayer is listed in Kent State’s football record book as a former Golden Flashes defensive lineman, but there is no current 2026 playing profile or stat line available in the gathered sources. The useful takeaway: if you mean the Kent State family connection, his son Oliver Mayer is a high-achieving multi-sport athlete whose father’s football background points to toughness, leverage, and trench DNA — the kind of attribute that matters when evaluating fit, even when the stat sheet is quiet. If you meant a current Kent State DL, the available results do not confirm an active player by that name.
