Jacksonville State punter Preston Knight brings reliable leg strength and field-position value
Preston Knight is a steady, field-position punter for Jacksonville State who has already shown legitimate big-leg ability, including a 67-yard long in his most recent listed college stats and 39.7 yards per punt across 26 punts in ESPN’s current player log. He also has game experience at Jacksonville State, where he appeared in five games and averaged 37.9 yards on 12 punts, suggesting a player who can handle live snaps without being rattled. For a team needing consistency, hang-time upside, and occasional boom punts, Knight looks like a practical fit rather than a flashy one.
