App State LB Colin Guentensberger brings production, versatility, and downhill edge
Colin Guentensberger is a physically active Appalachian State linebacker who arrived with proven high-school production, including 100 tackles and 27 tackles for loss as a senior, plus experience on offense and as a long snapper. His profile suggests a player with range, toughness, and special-teams value rather than just a one-role defender, which makes him attractive for programs that prize versatility and physical effort. The key question is current college-role translation, but his recruiting background points to a dependable, high-motor fit for a defense needing depth and attitude.
