South Alabama’s under-the-radar receiver with upside
Christian Wortham entered South Alabama as a 2019 Mississippi top-50 recruit, which hints at legit starting-caliber traits even before the box-score stuff shows up. In the information available here, there isn’t enough recent, verified 2026 production to stack him against the stat leaders, but the fit profile is clear: a 6-foot-1 wideout with SEC-style length, pedigree, and developmental appeal. If a staff wants a receiver who can grow into a bigger role rather than just rent catches, Wortham is the kind of swing worth taking.
