Caroline Calkins brings infield depth to a rising UMass Lowell team
Calkins is a rostered infielder for UMass Lowell in the 2026 season, but the available public stats do not show game production yet, so the best read is as a depth-and-development play rather than a proven statistical impact bat. UMass Lowell finished the 2026 regular season 24-23 and reached the America East playoffs, suggesting she is part of a competitive program with meaningful lineup and defensive standards. If you need an infielder who can develop into a reliable two-way contributor in a winning environment, she is worth monitoring; if you need immediate, documented offensive production, the public record is still thin.[9][4][5]
