Cornell OL with Long Island Grit, Limited but Promising Action
Islam Mohamed, a Cornell Big Red offensive lineman from Cummings High School (NC), earned early recognition as one of Long Island's top 100 players (MSGVarsity, senior year) and shone in the 2012 Empire Challenge; he debuted in 2015 as a junior, playing reserve snaps in six games before fading from recent rosters—no standout NCAAF stats on ESPN for 2016-2025. His high school pedigree and early college intensity suggest reliable trench warrior potential for developmental programs, but lack of volume play or pro buzz makes him a low-risk, high-upside depth fit for teams needing gritty, undersized OL with local recruiting ties.
