Tulane DB Stephon Lofton: Homegrown Safety with Length, Instincts, and Fit-for-the-System Value
Stephon Lofton is a 5-11, 180-pound defensive back from New Orleans who has committed to Tulane, and the clearest public evaluation points to his **instincts** as a standout trait. He looks like a versatile secondary piece more than a pure size-based enforcer, which can make him a useful fit for a team that values anticipation, positioning, and local recruiting upside. The downside: publicly available scouting detail is limited, so his current performance profile is hard to verify from stats alone, but his listed build and defensive-back role suggest a developmental corner/safety with quick-read potential.
