UTEP freshman DL Truth Holmes brings college-ready size and steady production
In the 2025 season at Sulphur Springs High School, Truth Holmes posted 34 tackles and 5.0 tackles for loss, after 52 tackles, 4.0 TFL and 3.0 sacks in 2024, which backs up the obvious appeal: a 6-foot-2, 293-pound interior defender with real disruptive pop. He also earned a 72 rating in EA Sports College Football 27, a nice little neon sign that he’s viewed as a workable, early-impact body. The fit is simple: if you want a young DL who already has power, leverage and production, Holmes is worth a serious look.
