Towson’s veteran DB with a grinder’s edge
Brent Hawkins is listed with Towson, but the available public record is thin on recent 2026 game production, so the safest read is that he profiles more as a depth-and-development defensive back than a proven stat-sheet star. What stands out from Towson’s roster notes is a converted defensive back who has shown improvement, good size, and a hard-worker reputation in the weight room—traits that usually translate to toughness, adaptability, and coachability. If your team wants a physical, self-made defender with upside rather than a flashy headline act, he’s the kind of player worth a closer look.
