veteran Morgan State DB with proven playmaking flashes
Everette Baker’s appeal is the kind coaches love: a physical, experienced defensive back who’s shown he can make impact plays, including a standout 2006 outing with 10 tackles and a forced fumble for Morgan State. He has also earned all-conference recognition in his career, which signals more than box-score production—he’s been trusted in high-leverage defensive roles. The biggest takeaway: Baker profiles as a tough, assignment-sound DB with playmaking instincts, the sort of guy who can stabilize a secondary and bring an edge, especially if your team values reliability and pressure over flash.
