Will Hampton brings Vanderbilt a gritty, versatile corner-outfield profile
Will Hampton is a dependable, left-handed corner-outfield piece for Vanderbilt whose calling card is toughness, baserunning feel, and clean defensive mechanics, with enough present strength to project real gap-to-gap impact. In scouting profiles, he’s described as a medium-athletic build with strong present strength and solid run tools, while Vanderbilt notes he can handle both corner outfield spots and has a strong feel for game flow. That mix makes him attractive if you want a steady, low-drama competitor who fits well in a lineup or role that values baseball IQ and reliability over flash.
