Brittany Gordon brings old-school post grit to Virginia Tech
Brittany Gordon is a 6-foot-4 center whose game has been built on interior scoring, rebounding, and shot-blocking—she averaged 6.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 20 blocks for Virginia Tech in the 2010 season, while shooting 49% from the field. Her differentiator is the no-nonsense paint presence: she was described by Hokies staff as a solid post player and a leader who could anchor the frontcourt. If you want a physical big who can battle inside and steady the locker room, she fits; if you need perimeter versatility, she’s not your gal.
