Mercer Bears RB Brandon Marshall: Emerging Power Back with Explosive Vision
Mercer Bears sophomore RB Brandon Marshall has erupted in the 2025 season with 1,248 rushing yards and 14 TDs on 6.2 YPC, leading the SoCon in yards after contact per carry (4.1), showcasing his rare blend of 4.48 speed, bruising physicality at 215 lbs, and instinctive cutback ability that evokes a young De'Von Achane. His relentless motor and zero-fumble streak highlight elite ball security and toughness, making him a Day 2 NFL draft riser despite a minor ankle tweak early last fall. Ideal for teams needing a versatile, high-upside workhorse who thrives in zone schemes.
