steady, local DB who earned his stripes on special teams
Nash Simet is a Brookings, S.D., product and former South Dakota State defensive back who was described by the program as a key contributor on special teams and as a reserve in the secondary, which is exactly the kind of reliability coaches love in a depth defender[2]. ESPN’s profile lists him as a Jackrabbits cornerback with no major stat production recorded in the available summary, so his value is more about trust, toughness, and doing the dirty work than stuffing a box score[1][3]. If you need a team-first, assignment-sound DB who can help on coverage units and provide rotational depth, Simet fits the mold[2].
