John Columbia brings veteran linebacker toughness to Merrimack
John Columbia is a proven, physical linebacker for Merrimack with a long football résumé and a reputation as a hard-nosed defender. Merrimack’s roster and his program bio show he has been with the Warriors for multiple seasons and came out of high school as a decorated defender, which points to instinct, discipline, and a willingness to do the dirty work in the middle of the defense. He looks like the kind of fit coaches trust on special teams, in run support, and as a tone-setter rather than a flashy stat-padding star.
