experienced Liberty guard with a deep system fit
McKay is a low-usage Liberty guard whose value is more about system fit, preparation, and basketball IQ than eye-popping box-score numbers; ESPN lists him at 6'1" and as a guard, with 2025-26 averages of 0.8 points, 0.2 rebounds, and 0.2 assists in limited action.[5][3] What makes him interesting is his long runway inside Liberty’s program—he started as a student manager before earning a roster spot, then later moved into a video-coordinator role—suggesting strong trust, detail orientation, and a deep understanding of the team’s culture.[4]
