Indiana’s steady, coach-trust QB with walk-on grit
Grant Gremel’s calling card is reliability and composure: in the 2021 season, the Indiana walk-on quarterback appeared in five games, completed 32 of 58 passes for 269 yards, and even became the first walk-on QB to start for IU since 1995. He’s not a hype-machine athlete, but he does bring toughness, a feel for the offense, and the kind of underdog poise coaches tend to respect. For a team needing a steady, low-drama distributor rather than a headline-grabber, Gremel fits the mold.
