Albany linebacker with a grit-first, play-fast profile
Pat Shairs profiles as a physical, high-motor linebacker for Albany, the kind of defender who fits best when a staff wants downhill aggression, clean tackling, and a tone-setter in the middle. Publicly available 2026 team/stat pages don’t surface enough verified individual production to give a reliable stat-led deep dive here, but the broader Albany defense has been competitive, and Shairs’ value is the harder-to-measure stuff: urgency, contact willingness, and consistency between the tackles. If your team wants a linebacker who plays with edge and won’t shy from the dirty work, he’s the type worth caring about.
