DeMierre Black brings veteran scoring touch and efficient guard play to Purdue Fort Wayne
In the 2024-25 season, DeMierre Black posted 4.7 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 43.9% from the field for Purdue Fort Wayne, and his background includes being a 12th-place national NJCAA scorer and 12th in steals at Roane State. His value is the steady, do-a-bit-of-everything guard profile: experienced, efficient, and capable of making timely plays without needing high volume. That makes him a fit for teams wanting a mature backcourt piece who can defend, handle, and keep the offense moving.
